Speckled Hens started in our imagination over 15 years ago. We are two best friends, Mary O’Brien and Laurie Barnett, brought together by our husbands, who share a love of the Lord, our families, and decorating our homes. Both stay-at-home moms, with pent up creativity and little extra money, we would spend late nights crafting to our hearts content (Laurie, a talented tole painter, and Mary, glued & sewed everything in between). We sold our creations at our Christmas craft boutiques in Apple Valley and Ontario.

Fast forward to our kids growing up and Mary's bout with cancer in 2005 and we realized that life is too short not to follow a dream - so here we are! We took a leap of faith and moved into our location in quaint downtown Upland. We just love our little "Mayberry" town and have filled our shop to the brim with things that we love. We're so happy you're a part of the Speckled Hens family!
